Trying to repair your Xbox 360 can be frustrating and a hassle. Especially when you don't know where to start or what to do. So, what I'm going to do is share with you some Xbox 360 home repair tips. That way, you can get back to playing your game system.

The first tip on repairing your Xbox 360 is to deal with the overheating problem. That's what causes your Xbox to have problems. Your Xbox is lacking a sufficient cooling system. So, make sure that you don't overheat your system.

The next Xbox 360 home repair tip is to open your game system up and fix the problem directly. You will need about an hour of your time and some household tools. Here's how to fix it. To start off, take off the case, remove the DVD drive, take the heat sink and x-clamp off, clean the GPU and CPU.

Next, put thermal compound on the GPU. It's about $1 a tube. You can find it at any computer or electronic store. When you are done applying the compound, put two washers above and below the heat sink screws on the mother board. After you have done that, put it back together. You're done after that.

These are some Xbox 360 home repair tips. If you are serious about fixing your Xbox, you should do something about it now. If you don't do something now, your game system may not ever work again. If you fix it properly yourself, you won't have to worry about it fixing it again. Trust me, it's easy to fix it.
