It's not hard to find car credit for an ideal car if you've got good credit. However, things can become difficult if you don't have a good credit rating. Be aware that there are many kinds of loan companies, and some deal only with those who have very poor credit ratings, while others deal solely with consumers who have good credit or sub prime credit. When looking for car credit its important to understand finding a good deal depends upon your ability to find a good lender.

Many people have found good car credit by searching online however searching online does have its limitations if you don't know how to go about it the right way. In my experience many people don't even know why they credit is bad and if it's bad how bad it is. They don't even know what their FICO score is so they often end up frustrated because they can't find the right lender to give them car credit. The first thing to do to have car credit is to obtain your credit report and examine it. If you see any errors on the report make sure to report it and get it fixed before you apply for car credit.

Determine if you have sub prime credit or some thing worse and note your FICO score. Even if you have worse than sub prime credit you can still get sub prime car credit. Several lenders offer sub prime car credit, you simply need to figure out what each lender considers sub prime. There are some which will qualify you for sub prime if you have a FICO score of 625 others will not. Thus, it's wise to be sure to contact the loan agency prior to going forward.

It is also a good idea to apply at various websites so that you get multiple quotes. When filling out the forms provide as much detail as possible so that you can get the most accurate quote. Your monthly and annual income is important. In addition, tell the lender why your credit is bad and how it's improving, to make it more likely that your car credit loan will be granted.
